To facilitate professional placement, the Department of Geosciences welcomes companies to visit our department for information sessions and interviews leading to internships or full-time positions for our students. We use the Nittany Lion Careers online scheduling system to manage industry recruiting in the department. We can also set up lunches and/or dinners with faculty members, if they are available.
Speaking with undergraduate student groups is also a good way to promote your company. You may want to consider contacting our GeoClub, an undergraduate student organization, about speaking to them at a group meeting during your visit with us. We will be glad to help facilitate the initial contact.
