What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
I am on the club gymnastics team, I am an active member of a service organization called Epsilon Sigma Alpha, and I’m a part of a club called NEXUS. Within the EMS school I am a part of the geoscience club, EMS Student Council and I do undergraduate research on geochemistry with two awesome graduate students.
What is the one Penn State activity that everyone should participate in, and why?
I believe that every Penn State student should be involved in THON. It’s an organization that does so many great things and is so rewarding to be a part of. Nothing compares to the final four hours in the BJC at THON.
Why did you decide to attend Penn State?
My whole family are Penn State alumni and I’ve grown up wanted to be a Nittany Lion since I was 5 years old. Penn State also has one of the best programs for geosciences in the country.
What’s the best part about being an EMS student?
The best part about being an EMS student is the community of people you have to support you through your college experience.
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective students?
Talk to your professors! They are experts in their field and their advice can take your pretty far!
