What would be your dream job and how did EMS put you closer to this goal?
My dream job is to work for the UN (UNEP or UNFCCC) in developing international climate policies. EMS has provided me not only with the wide breadth and depth of knowledge needed for such a complex task, but also opportunities to engage with the local and global community through research.
What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
Association of Energy Engineers (Exec Board), UN Campus Advocates (VP of Internal Affairs/Co-founder), Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity, Penn State Sustainability Intern
What is the one Penn State activity that everyone should participate in, and why?
THON! THON is an amazing way to not only support such a wonderful community, but also meet people from all across Penn State.
Why did you decide to attend Penn State?
I chose to attend Penn State because of the vast alumni network, well regarded honors college, and wide array of opportunities through clubs and organizations.
What opportunities has Penn State provided for you so far?
Penn State has provided me with several amazing opportunities including being a campus nominee for the Udall Foundation scholarship, a summer internship with Green Building Alliance (through Penn State Pittsburgh City Semester), research and an internship with Penn State Sustainability, and the opportunity to travel to New Zealand to conduct research with the University of Auckland in February 2024!
